About Marisca
A pharmacy that would rather test you than guess.
Two branches, in Accra and Kumasi, open every day from 8am to 10pm. We stock the medicines people actually come in for, and we run the tests that tell you whether you need them.
Who we are
A neighbourhood counter, not a chain.
Marisca Pharmacy is a community pharmacy. Most of the people who walk in are regulars, collecting a blood pressure medicine they have taken for years, bringing a child with a fever, or asking whether something they read about is worth worrying over.
What sets us apart is the counter at the back. We test for malaria, typhoid, blood sugar, cholesterol and sickle cell, we check blood pressure and blood group, and we give the hepatitis B vaccine. Getting an answer in twenty minutes, close to home, changes what people do next.
We also make one thing ourselves: Marisca Mouthwash, alcohol-free and sugar-free. It carries our name because we stand behind it.

How we work
Four things we will not bend on.

What we stock
From antimalarials to bitters.
Pain relief, cough and cold, antimalarials, prescription antibiotics, blood pressure and diabetes medicines, the full Vitabiotics range, children's syrups, baby care, first aid, blood pressure monitors, and the FDA-approved herbal mixtures and bitters our customers ask for by name.
If we do not have something, we will usually order it in. Ask.
