Slows down the bowel to control short-term diarrhoea.
What it is used for
Short-term, uncomplicated diarrhoea in adults.
Before you take it
Do not use if there is blood in the stool or a high fever, and do not give to young children. Rehydration salts are the priority, not stopping the diarrhoea.
